The Rio-Antirrio bridge and the new Olympia and Ionia motorways have brought Nafpaktos much closer. Patras is 21 kilometers away, Agrinio 73 and Athens 214, which is about two hours by car. So relatives who live far away can come often, which means a great deal to the older person.
